4. Swipe between Weather and Dust, pick a size, and add it.

For the Lock Screen: press and hold the Lock Screen → Customize → tap the widget area → Suhail.

يحسب سهيل المواقيت على جهازك بطريقة أم القرى: الفجر عند انخفاض الشمس 18.5 درجة، والعشاء بعد المغرب بتسعين دقيقة (مئة وعشرين في رمضان)، والعصر على مذهب الشافعي. التطبيقات التي تستخدم طرق حساب أخرى — رابطة العالم الإسلامي أو الهيئة المصرية — ستعطي أرقاماً مختلفة بدقائق. اعتمد على تقويم أم القرى الرسمي عند الشك.

Suhail computes times on your device using the Umm al-Qura convention: Fajr at 18.5° solar depression, Isha ninety minutes after Maghrib (120 in Ramadan), and Asr on the Shafi'i shadow factor. Apps using other conventions — Muslim World League, or the Egyptian authority — will differ by a few minutes. When in doubt, follow the official Umm al-Qura calendar.

Suhail's PM10 comes from the CAMS Global model via Open-Meteo, a forecast model at roughly 45 km resolution. Apps showing a nearby ground station will differ, especially within cities. The model is better at predicting dust arriving before it does; a ground station is more accurate about right now.

لأن الرطوبة تمنع العرق من التبخّر، وهي الوسيلة الأساسية التي يبرّد بها الجسم نفسه. على السواحل قد يتجاوز الفارق خمس عشرة درجة. الرقم محسوب بمعادلة الحرارة المحسوسة المعتمدة لدى هيئة الأرصاد الأمريكية، ونحدّ عرضه عند 54° لأن المعادلة تفقد دقّتها فوق ذلك — وعندها يتولى وصف الحالة توضيح الخطورة.

Because humidity stops sweat evaporating, which is the body's main way of cooling itself. On the coast the gap can exceed fifteen degrees. The number uses the US National Weather Service heat index formula, and we cap the display at 54° because the formula loses accuracy above that — beyond the cap, the severity label does the talking.

Deliberately. Location is sensitive personal data, and a weather app does not really need it — you check your own city, and the one you are driving to. You pick your city once and it is remembered. That way we collect nothing about you at all.
