سهيل نجمٌ يطلع منخفضاً في الجنوب في الرابع والعشرين من أغسطس، فينكسر الحر. تبرد الليالي أولاً، ثم النهار. هو أول علامة يعرفها الناس هنا على تغيّر الطقس، وأقدم من أي خدمة أرصاد.
Suhail is the star that appears low in the southern sky on 24 August, and the heat breaks. Nights cool first, then the days follow. It is the oldest sign of changing weather people here have, and it long predates any meteorological service.
